Enjoy my original music.
It was New Year’s Eve in Noosa Bay, Australia. At midnight, looking up at the Southern Cross, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I did know that I did NOT want to grow old and look back with regret that I let fear or insecurity keep me down.
I also knew that, in order to be really good at something, you need to love it. The only thing that really moved me was music.
This presented a problem – I didn’t really know how to sing. Music moved me to a place inside myself I couldn’t describe and I wanted to explore why.
I decided to start believing I could sing-figuring by the time I got a chance, I’d learn. That chance came sooner than expected after returning home to Southern California. I asked to sing a song with a band at a party – that started my journey.
I began to write songs and teach myself to play guitar at night because I had a day job. I started playing with a small band at coffee houses and small venues. After a while, I broke out on my own and played all over Hollywood in places like the famous Rainbow Room, Pig n Whistle, Coconut Teazers, Club Lingerie and all over Orange county.
I focused mainly on songwriting. Even though I had wonderful fans and performed often, I never felt truly comfortable on stage or with my singing voice. I finally started doing some serious work on my voice a couple of years ago and Covid gave me extra time to focus.
Because there are people who believe in my songs and because I now truly believe in myself, I wanted to create this platform.
Now I want to look back on my life and grow old without regret – I want to help people with my music. I’m just starting that phase of my journey…
Thank you for your support!
